We welcome you! We held our annual Smith Reunion on September 22, 2007 at the Wolf Lake Pavillon Park. We had 29 to 30 people attend. Lots of good food!
Bob and Kathy Berkes, Gordonville, Texas, surprised us all by attending. Especially surprised his brother, Howard and sister, Gwen Tipton.
Trevor Tipton presented a nice family history and pointed out that this year was the 99th year for the reunion. He would like to get all current and past family history together and make a book form to have available at next year's reunion. In celebration of our 100th reunion.
Reminders and mailings will be sent out periodically to remind family members.
The farthest traveled to the reunion was Dave & Thea Fry's daughter, Shannon and Joshua Brockman from Port Lavaca, Texas.
Oldest gentleman attending was Bob Berkes. Oldest lady attending was Mary Berkes. Youngest child attending was Gavin Kay. Couple married the longest attending was Gwen & John Tipton at 58 years.
Door prizes were given out to various family members.
Next year's reunion will be September 20, 2008 at the Wolf Lake Pavillon Park. Hosts for 2008 will be Kris Fry, Charles & Margaret Kay.
